Ensure zero invisibility and a well-functioning Civil Registration & Vital Statistics system
Commitment description:Tostan is committed to addressing the scandal of invisibility among poor and marginalized communities. In order to lift the prevailing sentiment of fatality, Tostan will demonstrate that it is possible to ensure zero invisibility even in remote rural communities with the right approach. Commitment description:Our Youth Indaba, in Pretoria from 15-17, October 2019 gathered 60 youth below the age of 35 years, including young parliamentarians, youth advocates and researchers from 16 SADC countries to learn, discuss, share best practices and evidence to improve the delivery on political commitments on dignity and human rights, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), HIV/AIDS and Gender Equality, Place and Mobility, Governance and Accountability and Sustainability in the SADC region through... Promoting the UNFPA and SSTC partnership to finish the unfinished business of the ICPD Programme of Action
Commitment description:We commit to develop a resource mobilization plan for the National Population Programme that will provide innovative strategies to mobilizing domestic resources, particularly national budget and strengthen the existing financing mechanism, including South-South & Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) support to ensure maximum implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action.
