On behalf of the UN Major Group for Children and Youth, we commit to: 1. Support young advocates and youth-led organisations to make commitments towards the achievement of the ICPD Programme of Action, providing a platform where these can be made and tracked. 2. Provide an annual space for young people from across the world to highlight progress and share barriers and opportunities to advance the ICPD Programme of Action, starting with the UN High Level Political Forum in 2020... (11) Committing to the notion that nothing about young people’s health and well-being can be discussed and decided upon without their meaningful involvement and participation (“nothing about us, without us”).
The commitments embodied in the ICPD population and development agenda and in the Montevideo Consensus, include legal reforms, processes of modification to laws or even public budgets - which are discussed in the congress. Many times legislators do not have these issues within their priorities or ignore them. Our commitment is to inform them and monitor their performance. We will work to ensure that Mexican parliamentarians know the agenda, to open processes of dialogue and discussion... The ICPD25 (12) Ensuring that the basic humanitarian needs and rights of affected populations, especially that of girls and women, are addressed as critical components of responses to humanitarian and environmental crises, as well as fragile and post-crisis reconstruction contexts, through the provision of access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information, education and services, including access to safe abortion services to the full extent of the law, and post-abortion care, to significantly reduce maternal mortality and morbidity, sexual and gender-based violence and unplanned pregnancies under these conditions.
Commitments from Bangladeshi Youth: Road to Nairobi
This commitment is prepared based on the National Level Youth Consultation that was conducted in support of ICPD25. Over 40 young people across Bangladesh, from diverse backgrounds, participated in this consultation. During this consultation Bangladeshi youth committed to the points detailed in this note. Strengthen governance systems that use reliable disaggregated FP/ASRH data to inform planning, decision making and accountability
(1) Intensify our efforts for the full, effective and accelerated implementation and funding of the ICPD Programme of Action, Key Actions for the Further Implementation of the Programme of Action of the ICPD, the outcomes of its reviews, and Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development.
Improve further family planning services delivery, access and uptake by increasing the number of health facilities, skilled healthcare providers and by expanding the available contraceptive method mix, including emergency contraceptives, in order to decrease unmet need for family planning.
(2) Zero unmet need for family planning information and services, and universal availability of quality, affordable and safe modern contraceptives.
Increase demand for ASRH services for all Rwandans through awareness raising, community engagement, education, and by expanding the number of health facilities that offer youth friendly services.
(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
1. Endeavour to increase domestic budgetary allocation for health in line with the Abuja Declaration of 15% of the annual budget and for streamlined financial and human resources for RMNCAH, HIV, TB and STIs into core areas of national investments for socio-economic transformation.
(6) Using national budget processes, including gender budgeting and auditing, increasing domestic financing and exploring new, participatory and innovative financing instruments and structures to ensure full, effective and accelerated implementation of the ICPD Programme of Action.
We will continue rallying men and boys to join the fight against #FGM, child marriage and other harmful cultural practices. Using popular mobilization via online and offline campaigns we will ensure the #EndFGM agenda become a "Fashionable" agenda among the men and boys
(5) (a) Zero sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, including zero child, early and forced marriage, as well as zero female genital mutilation; and (b) Elimination of all forms of discrimination against all women and girls, in order to realize all individuals’ full socio-economic potential.

Flo Health commits to identifying myths and information gaps on sexual and reproductive health through surveys among Flo’s active users and tackling them through at least 2 targeted information campaigns on modern contraception and other sexual and reproductive health issues, and free services such as the in-app health assistant. The campaigns aim to target 1 million adolescents from 13 to 18 years old, and achieve an increase in knowledge about modern contraception methods among at least 20...
