Joris Jurriëns is Head of the Health and Aids Division of the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Previously he was Deputy Head of Mission at the Netherlands Embassy in Colombia and in Argentina. He also worked as Deputy Crisis Coordinator and Emergency Aid Coordinator at the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Netherlands diplomatic missions in Brazil, Bolivia and Mozambique. He studied Public Administration at the University of Leiden and speaks six languages.
