Oswaldo Armindpo Faquir Petersburgo
Vice-Minister of Labor, Employment and Social Security Government of MozambiqueOswaldo Petersburgo was the President of the National Youth Council of Mozambique from 2009 to 2014. During his presidency, he continued to work as a Consultant for the Global Suny Corporation, a position he held from 2007 to 2011.
Amongst his many accomplishments, he was a national advisor for the preparation of the 2025 Agenda, a member of the Honor Committee of the 10th Maputo African Games in 2011, and has received an honorary diploma from the Ministry of Planning and Development. Between 2009 and 2013, Oswaldo Petersburgo was simultaneously Chairman of the Community of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP) Youth Forum and Chairman of the National Assembly.
Oswaldo Petersburgo worked and collaborated on the elaboration of the regulation of pre-professional internships. He has also been a member of the Central Committee of the Mozambican Youth Organization (OJM) since 2010.
In 2015, with the change of the state presidency from Armando Guebuza to Filipe Nyusi and the establishment of the new government, Oswaldo Petersburgo was nominated Vice-Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security.
