Ms. Noura Berrouba is a Member of the Governing Body of the European Youth Parliament (EYP) which is one of the largest European organizations for political debate, intercultural encounters, European civic education and the exchange of ideas for young people in Europe. In addition, Ms. Berrouba serves on the board of the National Council of Swedish Youth Organisations (LSU), CONCORD Sweden, and Höj Rösten School of Politics. Ms. Berrouba is a Global Shaper and former Vice-President of the Stockholm Hub of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community. She is a frequent lecturer, panellist and commentator, and has been ranked among the top 10 future policy-makers in Sweden.
Ms. Berrouba has previously served as Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos in 2019, focusing on highlighting the importance of civic participation. Furthermore, she has served as a member of the ICPD Expert Group for Europe and Central Asia, defining a regional monitoring framework to review progress in the implementation of the Framework of Action of ICPD beyond 2014 in the UNECE region. In 2018, she was appointed to the Swedish Government’s Advisory Council for Environmentally Sustainable Consumption. In 2016, she was the official Swedish Youth Delegate to the United Nations, joining the Swedish Government delegation to the UN General Assembly and other high-level meetings. Ms. Berrouba regularly provides expertise and advice to a variety of organisztions, including institutions, civil society organisations and think tanks.
