A passionate, humanitarian driven, motivator leader and a women’s rights advocate, HE is the ASG .Head of Social Sector at the (LAS). on 2018 and previously headed the Media & Communication Sector from 2013 - 2018.

Before becoming the ASG at LAS, Dr. Abu Ghazaleh was appointed as a Jordanian Representative to the Arab Women Organization . While serving at the (AWO), Dr. Abu Ghazaleh was appointed by HM. King Abdullah II as a Minister of Tourism &Antiquities in 2011 and a Senator to the Jordanian Upper House of Parliament in 2009.

During the period of 2007 – 2011, HM: Queen Rania Al Abdullah appointed Dr. Abu Ghazaleh as a SG at the National Council for Family Affairs. Dr. Abu Ghazaleh conducted pioneering work for more than 12 years while being the Regional Director of (UNIFEM) Arab States Regional Office.

For more than three decades, Dr. Haifa has been heavily involved & active at the Global Regional & National level in the areas of policy and legislative reform, Gender mainstreaming, strategic planning, Human rights, peace and security, Media & Communication .
Dr. Abu Ghazaleh holds two Ph.Ds in Education & Psychology, an MA in Educational Counseling and a BA in Psychology and Sociology. Published over 100 papers, publications, & journal articles based on her knowledge and expertise.
