Roy Sasaka Telewa is currently the Chief Executive Officer, National Youth Council which is domiciled at Ministry of Public Service, Youth and Gender. National Youth Council is an advisory, research and policy institution on youth affairs in the country. This is a corporate body, primarily designed to be the official voice and negotiator of the youth in Kenya. Since joining the NYC as the CEO, Roy has overseen the transformation of the State Corporation into a vibrant organization that builds and enhances capacity of Kenyan youth through strategic consultations, engagements and partnerships.

Before taking over the helm of NYC, Roy served as the head of procurement at Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) and previously as the Deputy Head of Procurement at Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK), among other senior executive positions in both public and private sector institutions.
