Noor Imran is a Program Coordinator at Bargad. She has been a part of advocacy efforts at different international forums which include the Asia Pacific Forum on Sustainable Development (APFSD) Youth Forum and CSO Forum in Bangkok, Thailand, The High Level Political Forum (HLPF) at the UN HQ New York, USA and the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, Switzerland for the Universal Periodic Review (UPR). She was on the drafting team for the alternative report for Pakistan’s 3rd Universal Periodic Review and delivered an oral statement at the UN office in Geneva during the adoption of the report by the Pakistan Mission to highlight Sexual and Reproductive Rights for the Youth in Pakistan. Noor’s engagements as an advocate has evolved around different aspects of youth development in the past five years and she translated this experience into her postgraduate studies as well. The topic of her Master’s thesis was: “Engagement” as a way to harness the potential of the Pakistani Youth Bulge.
