Adrian Balutel is the State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research of the Republic of Moldova as of 1st of August 2019. He holds a Master Degree in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe. In former capacities he held the position of the secretary of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum in Moldova, worked as an associated expert of the Institute for European Policies and Reforms and project associate to the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. Also, he was the Vice-President of the National Youth Council of Moldova and board member the National NGO Council of Moldova. Adrian is the youngest state secretary of the current government (26 y.o) and the president of the youth organization of the governing party in Moldova. In 2016 for his work in advancing EU opportunities for young people was nominated as the Young European of the Year 2016, by Schwarzkopf Foundation, under the auspices of the European Parliament.
