Lightning Round: Religion, Inclusion, and Spoken Word
Umeme Stage: This session will give you an insight into how ICPD champions on the ground are working to reach young people with Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights with a focus on marginalized communities, including people with disabilities, and how to do this in the context of religion. The session will finish off with the importance of inclusivity emphasising the equal rights of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex (LGBTI) people, sex workers and people living with HIV. The session will feature ten prominent speakers and ICPD changemakers. It will include a group performance, three young spoken word artists, that will convey their messages through poetry, spanning from SHRH and women's rights to Youth, Peace and Security.
