Diana Sierra is the Co-founder and CEO of Be Girl, a social business that creates high-quality, sustainable period products for girls and women worldwide and uses aspirational branding to combat gender inequity norms that are at the core of period stigmas. Diana is an experienced Industrial Designer holding more than 20 patents who developed and patented Be Girl’s universal pocket technology (used in PeriodPanty™ and FlexiPad™ menstrual protection products) and the SmartCycle® menstrual education tool. To date, Be Girl has distributed over 60,000 sustainable period products and 20,000 menstruation education tools across 30 countries. Originally from Colombia, Diana now lives and works in Mozambique, where she is building a regional Be Girl office.
