Alejandra Teleguario is from Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. She is a feminist activist for sexual and reproductive rights and youth rights. She is 18 years old, she is a teacher student in intercultural bilingual preschool education at Dr. Rodolfo Robles School, GOJoven Guatemala Association Fellow, member of Red JuventudesFEMLAC, volunteer of AJEDE Guatemala and YouthLead Ambassador in Guatemala; He participated in the Youth Now Camp! 2018 in Lima, Peru 2018 and Concausa 2018 in Chile with the Niñas Ayudando Niñas project (girls supporting girls).
Ale began her career as a leader looking for a better development for children, adolescents and youth at age 13 being Mayor of Children and Adolescents where she promoted the Public Policy of NAJ. Later he integrated and formed the National, Departmental and Municipal Network Las Niñas Lideran (Gilrs Up), carrying out significant actions in favor of girls and teenage mothers in the country. She was a fellow of the US Embassy for the Access and SEAL programs in the English language to execute programs in favor of children. She has presented initiatives in the Congress of the Republic of Guatemala in favor of the EIS and thanks to her participation and political-social influence in favor of the youth and women, she was named Distinguished Citizen of Quetzaltenango.
