Ahmet Mullamuhammed
Peer Educator and Refugee Youth Outreach Worker Y-PEER Türkiye Focal PointAfter spending 22 years in Syria and finishing his studies in law and computer business, the war started in Syria. When Ahmet realized he would not join the war, he migrated to Diyarbakir, Türkiye to his ancestral homeland.
Ahmet started from scratch studying law at the University of Dicle. Since the last 4 years he has been working in the field of supporting young refugees under the umbrella of UNFPA. He first started as a youth outreach worker at UNFPA’s youth center in June 2016 to support young refugees in Diyarbakir. He has been a member of the Y-PEER Network where he worked as a Peer Educator. Ahmet has also been trained on sexual and reproductive health and rights and violence against women.
