Quentin T. Wodon
Economist World BankQuentin Wodon is a Lead Economist at the World Bank. Previously, he managed the Bank’s work on faith and development, served as Lead Poverty Specialist for Africa, and worked as an economist on Latin America. He joined the World Bank in 1998 where his main focus has been on policy analysis in over 50 countries.
A lifelong learner, Quentin holds PhDs in economics, environmental science, health sciences, and theology and religious studies. He has over 500 publications and his work has been covered by leading news media globally. He served as President of two economics associations (the Society of Government Economists and the Association for Social Economics) and as Associate Editor for journals. Awards include the Prize of Belgium’s Secretary for Foreign Trade, a Fulbright doctoral grant, the Dudley Seers Prize, and the World Bank President’s Award for Excellence.
