Annemette Danielsen is graduated from University of Copenhagen, with a M.S.Ed in Comparative Education and Pedagogy. She has more than 25 years of experience in development and humanitarian work, with a focus on women and youth. Her current position is senior manager and gender focal point at Oxfam in Denmark, previously Annemette was engaged in development work in Asia, the Middle East and Africa, working as a consultant with civil society and governments. She is passionate and encouraged by the prospects of empowerment and self-dependence, triggered by qualitative Gender Transformative Education and reproductive health rights being fulfilled.
