Nidhi Goyal is the Founder and Executive Director of Rising Flame, an Indian non-profit working on rights of women and youth with disabilities. She is an an activist working on disability rights and gender justice with a decade of work on disability, gender, sexuality, and violence. Her work spans research, writing, training, advocacy and art at the national, regional and global levels. She has been invited to the multistakeholder steering committee of the Generation Equality Forum, has been appointed to the global CSAG of UN Women, sits on the Board of Voice by the Dutch Ministry, and is the President of Association for Women’s Rights in Development (AWID).
