Evalin is an agile and dynamic leader. She is the Project Director of Y-ACT and a Public Health specialist and holds a Global Executive MBA (Health Leadership & Management) from USIU-Africa, a BSc in Public Health from Kenyatta University, and is due for graduation with a second Master’s degree in International Public Health with the University of Liverpool–UK.
She is the Chairperson of AHAIC 2019 Youth Pre-conference – Amref’s 2nd Pan African convening of youth from across Africa that will focus on youth skills building and will culminate with the development of a toolkit on meaningful youth engagement to achieve Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and youth actions to hold government leaders accountable to commitments made to improve youth access to SRHR services and information. She is a member of the Service Delivery committee on UHC in Kenya and has received various recognitions including Siasa Place and Management Africa for her leadership role at Amref Health Africa.
