Abdifatah Noor Ali has experience working with Save Somali Women and Children and Witness Somalia in different capacities. As the Senior Protection Officer he ensured that protection is mainstreamed into all projects implemented in Banadir IDP Camps. In addition, he is a member of the Protection Cluster Working Group.  Abdifatah currently works as program officer at Northern Frontier Youth League (NoFYL), a local organization in Somalia. NoFYL is a welfare society committed to improve the living standards and the level of decision making of pastoral youth and women.  
GBV prevention, risk mitigation and response is a key priority for NoFYL and Abdifatah is the organization’s focal person for GBV risk mitigation. As part of his daily activities, he has actively supported the establishment of community dialogues on GBV prevention and risk mitigation, the implementation of safety audits in camps to identify GBV risks and related mitigation measures. He has also supported the strengthening of access to services for survivors of GBV through strengthening referral pathways.
