Addressing gender-based violence and the harmful practices of child, early and forced marriages and female genital mutilation
Commitment description:I commit to strive to ensure that implementation of programming around addressing gender based violence and harmful practices of child, early and forced marriages and female genital mutilation are given priority in the community and that this programming will target the most vulnerable populations; women and girls and equip them with adequate information to effectively enable them to advance their rights, demand for better response to cases, demand for improved services for survivors of violence, demand for stringent and stricter laws and policies in dealing with perpetrators of violence and to to be able to raise awareness on the cost of gender based violence and harmful to not only the survivor and or victim but the society as a whole. This processes will in turn lead to a society free of gender based violence and harmful practices.

- Programmatic actionBuilding the capacity of young women to adequately advocate for increased access to information and improved services such as access to SRHR services and effective response to gender based violence and other harmful practices in their communities.
(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
