Lifting Voices for Health to Close the Gap on Access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights

In partnership with organizations across Africa and Latin America, Planned Parenthood Global commits to:

--Promoting health equity by seeking to close existing health disparities in communities where we work.

--Building powerful movements to promote policy change and support a new generation of leaders.

--Empowering communities by supporting partners to deliver comprehensive sexuality education, improve public support of sexual and reproductive health and rights, and advance investments in sexual and reproductive health and rights at the local, regional, and global levels.

Modes of engagement:

• Budgetary and financial
  We will support locally-led organizations to advance budget advocacy to mobilize local, national, regional, and global budget and financial resources for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).
• Change or creation of legislation
  We will support local organizations attempting to facilitate a change to laws, either to progressively advance sexual and reproductive health and rights, including abortion, or to undo the barriers thereto.
• Policy and guidance
  We will provide support to organizations aiming to shape progressive policies and guiding documents to advance sexual and reproductive health and rights, including abortion.
• Programmatic action
  We will partner with organizations to expand innovative strategies for health care & education access, including key populations like youth & LGBTIQ people, & advance policies to achieve sexual and reproductive health and rights, including abortion.
