Help prevent early marriages and pregnancies involving adolescents aged 10–18
Commitment description:The Government of Niger, along with the technical support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), has been implementing the Niger Adolescent Girls Initiative “ILLIMIN ZAMAN DUNIA : Knowledge for Dignity" since 2013. This initiative is a major innovation consisting of many interventions that directly target adolescent girls with a view to reducing their vulnerability in an environment overshadowed by significant sociocultural burdens.
