Sexual and reproductive health
Commitment description:We join UNFPA Morocco in continuing efforts towards the comprehensive implementation of the ICPD agenda, which is why we are committed to participating and collaborating in order to: • Strengthen the programming of awareness-raising and educational activities for the benefit of young people, including those from marginalized regions, in relation to sexual and reproductive health, well-being, gender-based violence, the Sustainable Development Goals, and promoting peace and security, as well as human rights; • Advocate for access to sexual and reproductive health information and services for young people and adolescents, including people with disabilities, and to integrate comprehensive sexuality education into the curricula of the Moroccan education system; • Work to prevent marriages involving minors in Moroccan villages and eradicate unintended pregnancies and gender-based violence in terms of access to education and public spaces; • Help develop innovative approaches, methods and tools aimed at changing attitudes and risky behaviours among young people and adolescents; • Encourage young people to work by creating spaces for dialogue, exchange and the sharing of experiences.

(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
