Addressing sexual harassment in Norway
Commitment description:In addition to Norway's main pledge (1), to combat sexual harassment, Norway will establish a low-threshold system for handling cases. The Equality and Anti-Discrimination Tribunal will be given the authority to handle these cases as of 1 January 2020. The new enforcement system is expected to be more effective than today’s practice, where few cases are brought to courts.
