Commitment description:

Ensure an enabling policy and legal landscape for equitable and universal access to good quality and comprehensive integrated SRH information and services responsive to all adolescents and other underserved groups to fulfil their rights and choices with focus on removing legal barriers to access to services; and

Develop/implement Sexual and Reproductive Health Policy and legislation where appropriate, that guarantees adolescents’ access to services based on the Gillick Competency Test to support/ increase prevention efforts to reduce teenage pregnancy, facilitate HIV and STI diagnosis, treatment and care.

(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and  gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
