Commitment description:

• The Government of Ireland recognise that our burgeoning global adolescent and youth population have distinct sexual and reproductive health needs that too often remain unmet. How we respond to the needs of these young people will define our common future. The Government of Ireland commits, through our international development co-operation, to increasing our efforts to enable young people access the information and services they require to protect themselves from unwanted pregnancies and sexually transmitted infections like HIV/AIDs.
