Commitment description:Jordan is committed to implement the Response Plan for the Syria Crisis for the years 2020-2022, through donor funding which focused on the provisioning of health services to refugees and improving services in rural health centers that host refugees in addition to implementing the Emergency Primary Services Package (MISP) and continuing to support refugees in order to access primary health-care facilities in cooperation with international organizations and civil society institutions.
The Jordanian National Plan for Security Council Resolution 1325 is being implemented through the provision of responsive, gender-sensitive humanitarian services and access of women and refugee women most vulnerable to violence and the need for protection in host communities and refugee camps

(12) Ensuring that the basic humanitarian needs and rights of affected populations, especially that of girls and women, are addressed as critical components of responses to humanitarian and environmental crises, as well as fragile and post-crisis reconstruction contexts, through the provision of access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information, education and services, including access to safe abortion services to the full extent of the law, and post-abortion care, to significantly reduce maternal mortality and morbidity, sexual and gender-based violence and unplanned pregnancies under these conditions.
