Commitment description:

Jordan affirms its commitment to ensuring that adolescents and young people have comprehensive and age-appropriate information through the implementation of the National Standards for Youth-Friendly sexual and reproductive health services to help young people make sound decisions related to their sexual and reproductive health; the implementation of the 2019-2025 National Youth Strategy, in particular the focus on promoting youth health services; and approving
the Children's Rights Act by the Council of Ministers which encompasses articles on the quality of services provided to children.

(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and  gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
