Improved job and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people in Mozambique
Commitment description:Taking into consideration that young people are the majority of the population in Mozambique, we commit to do advocacy work for our government to create a national policy focused on supporting young entrepreneurs to work on their ideas and contribute to the growth of our country. Advocacy work will focus on promoting the creation of a strong network that provides high quality vocacional orientation and extra-curricular activities that will expose young people on innovation and contribute to building a strong and relevant career. We want this network to cover all mozambican districts and impact both young boys and girls in school age.
Advocacy will take the form of campaigns and events that will gather relevant stakeholders and decision makers. Through the youth platforms, we commit to implement at least 3 campaigns/events every year in which these issues are treated. Youth platforms will also meet with government leaders and provide advice whenever policy. We expect the government to have this policy ready by the end of 2024. This ccommitment will contribute to reach the SDG goal nr 8 and nr. 9 and nr. 4.
