Reach annually 10 000 young people with out of school comprehensive sexuality education
Commitment description:Y-PEER Moldova commits to reach annually 10 000 young people with peer-to-peer comprehensive and age-appropriate education on sexual and reproductive health and rights using alternative methods of education (such as theatre-based techniques, role games, simulations, etc.) with the purpose to increase their capacity in tacking informed decisions and having safe behaviors.
Mode of engagement:
- Programmatic actionProvide out of school CSE to adolescents and young people, increase parents capacity to address adolescents’ and youth’ SRHR, strengthen national and local partnerships for youth SRHR and advocate for mandatory in-school CSE.
(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
