Commitment description:The Maa Trust commits to the overall goal of striving for zero unmet need for family planning information and services and universal availability of quality, affordable and safe modern contraceptives.
By training and capacitating at least 6 CHVs annually to give sexual reproductive health services in their villages in the Maasai Mara. Upskilling the services providers (nurses) in at least 6 (six) of the existing health facilities annually on giving the modern methods of Family planning especially LARCs.
Conducting monthly mobile clinics in the hard to reach areas to increase accessibility to quality and affordable sexual reproductive health services.
With a current annual budget of $24,912 the project started in Oct 2019 in Narok-West Sub-County, with future plans of increasing the number of nurses and CHVs as well as expanding the project coverage area
