Youth-Powered Health Care—For and By Youth
Commitment description:By 2030, Population Services International will identify, train and deploy a corps of 500 young people from across the globe who will co-design adolescent health programs side-by-side with technical experts. These Youth Fellows will be embedded in Adolescent Youth Sexual Reproductive Health program teams as researchers, analysts, advocates and community-level champions, and supported to develop the confidence and skills needed to successfully influence and deliver public health programming.
While this would be initiated by PSI, the curriculum, opportunities and anticipated donor funding would be widely shared to benefit local, regional and international organizations throughout the globe.

(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
