Commitment description:As young people, we are committed to :
1-) Raise awareness and support our peers in sexual and reproductive health to help eliminate preventable maternal deaths.
2-) Convey messages so that young people adopt appropriate and responsible behaviors to end gender-based violence
3-) Develop behavioral models to get our peers to pursue their education to get a decent job, and to create their own jobs for a better future.
4-) Strengthen advocacy with decision makers and actors so that young people participate fully in civic life and have access to services that are adapted to them.
Mode of engagement:
- Programmatic actionOur actions to solve SRHR, HIV/AIDS and gender-based violence issues are summarized by community awareness and advocacy to make each stakeholder accountable and to make the population aware and conscious about the struggles.
Uphold the right to sexual and reproductive health care in humanitarian and fragile contexts(12) Ensuring that the basic humanitarian needs and rights of affected populations, especially that of girls and women, are addressed as critical components of responses to humanitarian and environmental crises, as well as fragile and post-crisis reconstruction contexts, through the provision of access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information, education and services, including access to safe abortion services to the full extent of the law, and post-abortion care, to significantly reduce maternal mortality and morbidity, sexual and gender-based violence and unplanned pregnancies under these conditions.
