Supporting people living with HIV to access rights and services
Commitment description:We, as Positive Living Association, will continue to support people living with HIV to ensure their access to health and care without discrimination and stigma. We will continue to work for an environment that is free from discrimination towards people living with HIV.
Mode of engagement:
- Programmatic actionPositive Living Association (PLA) was established in 2005 to support people living with HIV in Türkiye through peer support and advocacy. PLA has been working on HIV prevention, treatment and care along with public and policy advocacy.
(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
