Right to family planning information and services
Commitment description:In Guinea, sexuality is still a taboo subject in society. This results in a lack or misinterpretation of information, which explains the reluctance of the majority of the population. In view of this, we are committed to helping achieve the overall goal of ensuring zero unmet need for information, and that there are no limitations in family planning services associated with the universal availability of safe, affordable and quality modern contraceptive methods by 2030. Therefore, our actions will consist in providing the majority of the population with sufficient information on family planning by: -training peer educators -organizing awareness campaigns through all communication and information channels. These campaigns will help reduce the production and circulation of false information, and reduce sexually transmitted infections and potentially unintended pregnancies with all their associated risks, through the correct use of a contraceptive method resulting from the provision of clear, simple information adapted to the level of understanding of all social groups.
Mode of engagement:
- Programmatic actionNotre action programmatique consistera aux montages des projets, la recherche des bailleurs, des partenaires afin d'assurer l’exécution des projets, procéder à des campagnes de sensibilisation et présenter les résultats.
