Make the ICPD and the Montevideo Consensus promises on abortion a reality

By 2030, Ipas Central America and Mexico commits to contribute to making the ICPD promise that abortion must be safe and accessible when legal, a reality for all women and girls in our region. We will do it by working with the governments of the region to improve the availability, accessibility, and quality of services and to reduce stigma and discrimination, and by collaborating with civil society, and grassroots organizations, especially feminist organizations, to increase access to abortion self-care. We also commit to advocating for the full implementation of the Montevideo Consensus, especially on the commitment to considering the review of the laws and policies that criminalize the abortion.
