Leaving no refugee behind
Commitment description:Among 4 million refugees in Türkiye. Although significant progress has been made to ensure the protection of refugees in Türkiye, some of the most vulnerable groups are still trying to cope with various protection risks. Refugee LGBTI, refugee men and boys who are survivors of and/or at risk of GBV, sex workers and people living with HIV are among the most vulnerable refugees in Türkiye, mostly left behind in mainstream protection service provision. We, as Positive Living Association, will continue to provide protection services; HIV counselling, access to HIV treatment and care, GBV case management, legal assistance, psychological support services to most vulnerable refugees.

- Programmatic actionOur organization is implementing 4 service units in Türkiye that are providing specialized services to most vulnerable refugees (LGBTI, sex workers and people living with HIV) to reduce their protection needs.
(12) Ensuring that the basic humanitarian needs and rights of affected populations, especially that of girls and women, are addressed as critical components of responses to humanitarian and environmental crises, as well as fragile and post-crisis reconstruction contexts, through the provision of access to comprehensive sexual and reproductive health information, education and services, including access to safe abortion services to the full extent of the law, and post-abortion care, to significantly reduce maternal mortality and morbidity, sexual and gender-based violence and unplanned pregnancies under these conditions.
