Kiribati Data Drive to Leave No One Behind
Commitment description:In alignment with the Nairobi ICPD25 Summit global commitments for “Demographic diversity and sustainable development” and the KV20. We, the Government of Kiribati, commit to increased utilization of data for evidence based decision making and policy development which will target the most vulnerable and most in need including women, youth and adolescent, and the disabled. We will achieve this by strengthening our data collection systems related population, sexual and reproductive health services and gender based violence response and ensure that all data can be dis-aggregated by sex, age and disability. We strive for increased data utilization for formulation and monitoring of education, health and employment policies and programmes targeting the most vulnerable including youth with disabilities. We will build capacities to analyze and utilize data for monitoring youth, education and health related policies to drive the full investments for demographic dividend, support climate change and population, and sustainable development.
