Kingdom of Tonga Country Statement
Commitment description:With the financial and technical investments into the national statistical systems, this is the first of its kind for Tonga to include a Domestic Violence module into a National Survey. The MICS Survey which will be implemented in November 2019 will allow Tonga to track some indicators on Domestic Violence among many for the Sustainable Development Goals. With that being said, Tonga is committed to supporting National Statistical Systems to ensure quality data is available to inform decision-making and strategic planning for the nation.
