Improve access to family planning information for general population, and especially for women of reproductive age in Georgia.

Commitment description:

Our organization will continue advocating for improved access to Family Planning services and information through cooperation with relevant state structures (NCDCPH) on implementation of Mother and Newborn Health Strategy for 2017-2030, especially it’s communication component, focused on family planning. Tanadgoma will participate in planning of SRH strategies and programs on national and/or local levels, so that the programs and inclusive, human-rights-based and gender-sensitive. At the same time, we will further maintain and promote use of Georgian mobile language application on family planning “My Calendar”, and cooperate with media for promotion of Family Planning issues.

  • Policy and guidance
    By 2023, communication component of Georgian “Mother and Newborn Health Strategy”, related to family planning issues, is approved by state and implemented throughout the country.
  • Programmatic action
    By 2023, use of innovative channels, developed by Tanadgoma (social media and mobile application) for getting information on family planning among women of reproductive age has increased by 20%.
