A generation of advocates in Syria

Commitment description:

SMSA-Syria is one of its kind as a students' NGO in Syria. Founded and structured with the passion of initiators who wanted to see a better future for Syrian youth.
With the committees that we have; Education, reproductive health, public health, human rights and peace, professionalism and research, we aim to insert the concept of advocacy and policy in our society, then empower people with mplementation tools in order to reach a point where ignorance has no place to obstacle our steps.

Therefore, we would like to announce a commitment of training and preparing nationally a 100 advocates from 5 different cities that cover the most parts of Syria on Education, reproductive health and youth issues leading them to make big changes in their local societies and in the systematic lawful structure in Syria.

During my journey founding SMSA-Syria, I made it to assist similar low-resource countries to establish the same such as Yemen and Palestine. I have already set cooperation concepts with several regional networks and looking forward to implement this regionally.

Our region (Middle East) is in a high need of advocacy and policy knowledge. This will assist us in improving people's lifestyles, women rights and more!

Therefore, we would like to also set a commitment of training 20 individuals in our region from different 5 countries on advocacy and policy directed to implement their training in education, reproductive health and youth issues.

We will keep updating our work, widen our spaces and definitely reaching the goal by the last quarter of 2020.
