By 2030,  the government is working to ensure integrated social protection system: Syrians have a comprehensive social welfare system that provides decent and safe living today and in the future. This protection system is in line with the highest international standards to reduce poverty and fragility, by achieving an effective labor market, and reducing citizens' exposure to economic and social risks, such as unemployment, marginalization, disease, disability, special needs, behavioral deviations, and aging, and building their capacities to confront them.
