Commitment description:Using faith and traditional leaders as advocates and community educators with involvement of survivors of SGBV in community engagement will help in addressing sexual and gender base violence especially child marriages. in Ghana faith and traditional leaders have great respect and their actions makes changes at all levels. with involvement of faith and traditional leaders at all levels of addressing SGBV including forced marriages the issue of SGBV could be addressed

- Programmatic actionMore engagement with faith and traditional community should be initiated and funded by governments and development partners including grant making organizations to address SGBV especially issues around norms
Address gender-based violence and the harmful practices of child, early and forced marriages and female genital mutilation(5) (a) Zero sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, including zero child, early and forced marriage, as well as zero female genital mutilation; and (b) Elimination of all forms of discrimination against all women and girls, in order to realize all individuals’ full socio-economic potential.
