Ensuring the leadership and partnership of adolescent girls and young women in decisions relating to their sexual and reproductive health and rights
Commitment description:Plan International commits to promote the leadership of adolescent girls and young women as key partners in decisions relating to their sexual and reproductive health and rights.
In particular, from now until 2023, Plan International will leverage its global ‘Girls Get Equal’ campaign to advocate for girls’ meaningful engagement and leadership in all decision-making spaces relating to adolescent sexual and reproductive health and rights in recognition of the ‘nothing about us, without us’ principle, including policy formulation, government planning, budgeting and accountability processes, as well as strategies and programmes for implementing, monitoring and evaluating SRHR services.
