Ensure access for adolescents and youth to comprehensive and age-appropriate information, education adn adolescents friendly quality and timely services
Commitment description:1. To scale up prevention of sexually transmitted infections and HIV among adolescents and youth by ensuring access to comprehensive and age-appropriate information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services.
2. To reduce adolescents pregnancy at least by 30% in 2025, especially in rural area using the network of youth-friendly health clinics
Modes of engagement:
- Budgetary and financialsupport integrated youth-friendly services at PHC
- Policy and guidanceensure quality of youth-friendly services by supporting capacity development of health providers and quality assurance mechanisms
(4) Access for all adolescents and youth, especially girls, to comprehensive and age-responsive information, education and adolescent-friendly comprehensive, quality and timely services to be able to make free and informed decisions and choices about their sexuality and reproductive lives, to adequately protect themselves from unintended pregnancies, all forms of sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS, to facilitate a safe transition into adulthood.
