Commitment description:

In our working Area in Nepal there is big problem is child marriage faced by adolescent girls age in below 15 years old. Their parents are not aware about impact of child marriage. So my organisation is working in those communities since few years are of end the child marriage, girls education, child club formation and mobilization, parents education about about end the bad culture in concern communities. Other hands, Local government of Nepal not focus on end the child marriage, They focus on infrastructure development. In this regards we also focus on capacity building of government authorities, personals of local government. Support to enhancing their capacities. Support to formation of community based organisation in different level. Need to develop big collaboration and networking of civil Society organisation. After the participation from Nirobi I will be active for planing of program, coordination with local government Authorities and orientation to program staffs and mobilizing for end the force child marriage respective communities until next 2 years. it is my commitment.

Modes of engagement:
  • Policy and guidance
    In our community of Nepal here is big problem of Gender based violence especially poor and marginalized community. Many community people has applying bad cultural like discrimination, child force marriage and dourly system and sexual behavior.
  • Programmatic action
    Organizing youth and child clubs, community based organisations in respective communities and support to capacity building them and mobilizing. Another way to reduce the bad practice by change the government's policies and Advocacy for change.
