Commitment title:

Asia-Pacific youth commit to provision of youth-friendly SRH services and information, including CSE

Commitment description:

By 2030, we, young people of Asia and the Pacific, commit to working with relevant stakeholders to ensure that youth-friendly SRH services are stigma-free and take into this holistic definition of SRHR and recognize and address the barriers in implementation, including restrictions based on marital status or third-party authorization, lack of adequately equipped SRH facilities for young people and trained health service providers, and stigma and taboo around young people’s sexuality.

By 2030, we commit to advocating for the provision of comprehensive sexuality education as fundamental for children and adolescents to make informed choices about their sexual and reproductive lives and is an integral part of achieving universal access to SRH, as well as a means to realize a gender just society and sustainable development.
