Asia-Pacific youth commit to advocating for improved monitoring system and disaggregated data

Commitment description:

By 2030, we, young people of Asia and the Pacific, commit to advocating our governments to invest in inclusive, responsive, transparent, and participatory monitoring, review, and accountability mechanisms for the implementation of ICPD PoA and the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda at all levels.

By 2030, we commit to working with relevant stakeholders to improve monitoring systems through ensuring provision of disaggregated data according to age, gender, disability status, migration and citizenship status, income groups, education, spatial, ethnicity and indigenous status, amongst other variables, in order to inform decision-making, budgeting, programming, and monitoring.

    Reaffirmation of the Youth Call-to-Action prepared at the 2018 Mid-term Review of the Asia Pacific Ministerial Declaration on Population and Development, at the ICPD25 Regional Consultation held in Bangkok.
