Albania commits to the overall goal of zero gender based violence and harmful practices, including child marriage.
Commitment description:Parliament commits to endorse the Law on Gender-based Violence by 2021; Parliament commits to support change the legal age at marriage for girls to be at least 18 years, by no later than year 2022; Parliament commits to support necessary legal changes by 2022 to ensure implementation of Action Plan for Elderly 2020-2025.
