Abolishing the exception in the age of marriage
Commitment description:I pledge to activate the application of the legal age of marriage in Jordan and putting it into force without exceptions in order to prevent marriages for girls under 18 years old, and this should be applicable to males and females equally.

- Change or creation of legislationI am a parliamentarian, and in my capacity in the legislative body I try to change discriminatory laws against women through lobbying, forming alliances with stakeholders, and offering initiatives to change legislation.
- Policy and guidanceChanging policies and strategies and spreading awareness on the importance of preventing early marriage and pressuring the government to impose tougher measures on early marriage.
