Transformed lives through zero GBV in Micronesia (FSM)
Commitment description:The Government of the Federated States of Micronesia is committed to bring about transformational change in the lives of women and young people, through the prevention of GBV. This will be achieved by (1) supporting the integration of reproductive rights and ending violence against women and girls in national policies; (2) formulation of policy on Elimination of VAWG in the four states; an (3) health workers using the Standard Operating Procedures to provide quality of care to survivors of GBV by 2022.

Address gender-based violence and the harmful practices of child, early and forced marriages and female genital mutilation(5) (a) Zero sexual and gender-based violence and harmful practices, including zero child, early and forced marriage, as well as zero female genital mutilation; and (b) Elimination of all forms of discrimination against all women and girls, in order to realize all individuals’ full socio-economic potential.
